National Service Training Program or NSTP is a tertiary program in the Philippines. The program was mandated by the government as training ground of students for civic activities and defense readiness.

The primary objective of the NSTP is to promote the role of the youth in nation-building. It aims to encourage the youth to become civic and/or military leaders and volunteers whom could be called upon by the nation in cases their services are needed.

National Service Training Program is meant to make all the citizens of a certain age have the proper skills needed to defend their country from any threats. It also gives them important skills that will make them know what to do during calamity and disaster or when in emergency situations.
