Mitsubishi pajero exceed 2.8 diesel the primer pump wont pull fuel to the new filter piston type any suggestions ive tried pulling it through on the engine and still wont come through?

remove the return line from the injector pump and put air pressure in the fuel tank through the filler sealing with a rag (not to much u will damage the tank)keep putting pressure in till the fuel leak out of the fuel pump return line reconnect and start if it still wont start u will need to crack the injector pipes loose and wind the engine till fuel come out of them retighten and start.
