My 1990 Chevy astro van temperature gauge keeps going from hot then almost back down to the bottom while the radiator is full and i don't understand why.?

My 1996 astro is having the same problems...we've replaced the water pump and have flushed the radiator, and changed the thermostat...but it keeps telling me its running hot. My dad seems to think its a leaking hose, and that the van requires a vaccuum to deliver the fluids. You might want to check any of those things...but I dont know if it will help, I'm in the same boat you are.
Change your coolant temp sensor,that is most probably the problem.
