I have a 1996 Mercury Villager and battled this problem for years. My van would stall on hot days, at high altitudes and sometimes just randomly (even on the freeway which posed considerable dangerous situation). Several dealers and mechanics could not diagnose the problem. I finally had the fuel pump replaced and the problem has not reoccurred. However, I agreed to use an after-market fuel pump and it does not give accurate fuel gage readings. You might want to consider using the dealer brand (which was considerably more expensive).
to much fuel. check the fuel pressure regulator, crank sensor,
A sudden decrease in barometric pressure is a sign that a storm is coming.
this happened to me on the 3.3 v6 all of a sudden it was the photo sensing module that has a thin film inside heat is a enemy had to replace whole dist.$500 just for a $50 part
A sudden drop in the temperature

Mercury has a sudden fall and then the barometter measure it and when i mean by fall i mean air pressure so yeah it's cool I knoe it doesn't make sense but Im just writing this anyway. Even though it's pure glorius silly you know what. I PUT THAT WORD BUT THEY WON'T LET ME POST THIS STUPID ANSWER

Sudden change in blood pressure.
A problem has been detected with the Anti-lock Brake System It could be a fuse ( bad , or in my case one of the ABS fuses was not installed all the way all of a sudden ) a sensor , or some other problem
Sudden change in air pressure might lead to death. Sudden change in air pressure will disrupt the blood and air circulation within your body. You might feel dizzy and have nose-bleeding in such cases.
Maybe pressure balancer going bad or you don't have a pressure balanced valve
