I was just looking up VIN # info on the internet for my Jetta...the "3" at the beginning means unfortunately that the car was made in Mexico...and probably doesn't say anything about what kind of key replacement you need. All the people I've talked to who have had electrical problems with their cars also have 3 as the first number. But the ones with a W (Germany) have far fewer problems. It certainly means the car isn't assembled by someone who speaks english, or makes a decent wage, and somehow doesn't explain why vw's are so expensive given the fact they are so cheap to assmeble.

If the car starts shaking in second gear the motor mounts are probably going bad. Lift the hood of the vehicle and inspect the rubber inserts. If they are cracked and brittle they will need replacement.

i mean what is a replacement reaction
Do you mean "starts with an i"? You have to watch those automatic changes in the question box. The program thought you were using "i" to refer to yourself and stuck you with a replacement. The word you're looking for is probably "irk".
