I had the same problem and it was a fault in the clutch hydraulics system, in my case a leaking master cylinder, something relatively easy to replace. Check your fluid reservoir- if you don't know which one it is, check all of them, as you should anyway, and if you find one low or missing fluid altogether, that will likely be your problem. [My Accord is slightly newer, but in mine the transmission systems fluid has a clear plastic floating disc inside the reservoir, probably yours does too.] Get the CORRECT FLUID IN A NEW CONTAINER and top up the reservoir and see what happens If you have just a slow leak, that might do it, but it could be more that you have an airlock in the system that needs to be bled out. The problem is not likely to go away so it may be time to get it fixed by a pro. The other possible leak cuprit will be the slave cylinder
A 1995 Honda Accord clutch pedal switch is located directly under the clutch pedal. This switch stops the car from starting with depressing the clutch. This helps avoid accidents.
There could be a few reasons why a clutch pedal is stiff on a 1999 Accord. The clutch may be low on fluid or the clutch may need to be replaced.
