are you sure its fuel cut out? my probe would not start traced problem to electronics inside distributor had failed [common fault on probe]
find fuel cut off switch
Fuel pump/fuel filter need replacing. 1991 Ford Probe has fuel cut off switch located in trunk, if car ran over bump, hit something in road, that bounced up under car, possibly caused switch to shut off. pouring gas into engine will only work as long as you pour gas.Try resetting cut off switch to start fuel pump.
If you are talking about a fuel cutoff switch then it is in the trunk right next to the fuel hose there is a little red button
the fuel pump shut off switch is in the trunk at the back on the drivers side, underneath a carpet/wood cover.
The fuel cutoff / inertia switch is located in the trunk on the left side quarter panel under the carpet. Most have a rubber boot on them.
in this case its ok to push the red button
If it's the same as the 1996 Ford Probe , it's in the hatch area - lift the carpet in the drivers rear area of the cargo area , you will see a rubber cap / plug , push the raised area of the plug in order to reset the fuel shut off switch
No switch. Check the relay for the fuel pump.
should be in left side of trunk behind the carpeting in the fender well
in the trunk, under the carpet to the left side quarterpanel
If you are talking about the inertia switch, it is in the hatch on the driver's side under the floor mat behind the wheel well.
The switch is located on the drivers side rear wheel house under the mat / carpet. These often corroded so the switch may be shot. Bypass it to see if that fixes the problem; if not, you may have a bad fuel pump.
