i have a 1997 safari GMC van,it died on me one day and i ended up with no battery.Got the van home,$60 later, and charged battery, tried to start and would turn over, but wouldnt start .sounded like it was starving for fuel.Listen for fuel pump while turning over heard it in the tank, sprayed either to see if fuel pump gone,if start fuel pump gone if not fuel pump okay.Didnt start, then told to check for sparl and wear on distribuater cap.Cap fine cleaned it before put back, pulled coil wire of and touched steel to see if has spark,no spark, okay .CHECK CENCER UNDER ENGINE FIRST,EASY TO GET OUT IT LOOKED fine, and then tested the coil and tested coil wire, coil wire no good replace still no spark,/Only thing left was ignition modual, changed put together grounded modual and tried van, started, turned over no problem.Ignition modual.cost me bout 50 bucks and still running,GOOD LUCK.
I do not have a answer for it, do you an answer for this problem?
If it doesnt turn over it can be
i have the same thing going on my 02 but no spark
we had the same problem and replaced all those things and it ended up being the throttle body position sensor.. maybe that is your problem
If a 1996 Bravada will turn over, but not start, the carburetor may be plugged. Bad spark plugs, a clogged fuel filter, or a clogged air filter can also be the problem.
I means you have a battery problem or a starter problem or dirty/loose battery cable connections. If the battery is operating the starter and the starter is turning the engine over but the engine won't start and run, you may have a spark problem or a fuel problem.
When you start at the safari zone and you go right then up eventually, you will turn left then keep going up.
Does the engine turn over but not start or it does not turn over till cold? If the latter is the answer then your kick start is the problem. REPLY The car turns over but wont start.
check the battery and connections/cables
Using Safari over WiFi. You can turn on and approve WiFi in settings.
Try replacing your spak plugs. I had the same problem with my 85 Monte Carlo.
you have a dirty battery post
