Answer
Mcafee have this problem of blocking the internet , I found the whole information through the link below.
Answer
Unfortunately the internet block is actually caused by McAfee.
McAfee admit there is a bug in their software in which the McAfee firewall blocks the internet connection. The fix is to uninstall your McAfee and re-install it.
Or, you can contact McAfee live support, using Remote Assistance, they will repair it for you.
McAfee are a very poor product for the price they expect. They also overprice their internet-bought softwares which can usually be found around 25-50% cheaper in stores.
My personal advice is to switch to a more trusted anti-virus company. I did. All the problems with internet connectivities were resolved as soon as I deleted McAfee and ordered they give a refund.

Check your internet connection, either that or your firewall will not let a connection through from Runescape's Servers.
That can have several reasons. You might not have a good Internet connection, RuneScape might be blocked by a firewall (for example, if you try to play from school), or you might have some problem with your browser. Some things you can try is using a different browser, and clearing private data in your browser.
Then you may not have an Internet connection, or Internet Explorer may have a configuration problem. To see whether you have basic Internet connection (independent of Internet Explorer), use the "ping" command. Then you may not have an Internet connection, or Internet Explorer may have a configuration problem. It may be blocked by a firewall, or there actually may be some type of problem. You need to check on the router, and the gateway that is being used for Internet access. Check your own settings as well. If the default gateway address is missing then you will not get Internet access no matter what you do.

disable the third party firewall like norton , macfee, zone alram ,avg etc....
It means that the connection to the Internet is not consistant. This may be caused by a loose wire or other connection, some other hardware problem, or if your connection is shared, there may be enough traffic going through the connection that your machine isn't able to maintain a solid connection to a machine outside of the network.
the problem is your internet connection try to check that out
