I know how you feel because i have this problem as well, i suggest you try to talk it out. You don' want your best friend to think 'wow, i love how she is sucking up to me!' let her know that you have feeling's too and it is really rude to pretend she likes you when she dosn't. Tell her how you feel, your not a puppet
This is so bad situation. I would like to suggest you to sit & sort out the issue.
