My tempgauge says its getting hot fast One minute it blows cold air the next super hot while the heater is on and the car is over heating. any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Then it is obvious that the oxygen sensor is not the problem. Quit throwing money at the problem and take it to a professional who knows how to find the real problem.

Or the relay that switches power to the heating element could have gone bad. If it's a gas dryer the igniter that lites the burner could have failed.
