well, as Australia is an extremely large country it would be almost impossible to answer this as there are thousands of different forest all around Australia but the most famous Australian forests would have to be the Queensland tropical rainforest's, the subtropical rain forests of New South Wales and the cold temperate rainforest's of Tasmania and Victoria characterised by their cold an and wet mountain climates. (one particular forest in Tasmania is called the Tarkine and it is the second largest temperate rain forest in the world and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere).
