Not just ANY gas will do, it has to be Oxygen.

And in just that same way as burning wood in a fire releases energy (heat and light), the body burns sugars using a slower reaction to great energy to power life.

How do you construct a Tesla coil to produce free energy?

You can't produce "free energy". This simply isn't possible, even if you invoke the name of famous scientists. You can look up "Tesla coil" in the Wikipedia. Such an item exists, but its purpose is NOT to produce "free energy". Thousands of inventors have been trying to get "free energy", for centuries. So far, none has succeeded. It seems unlikely that anyone ever will. You will certainly not get the recipe here on answers.com, for something nobody has discovered yet.
