Did you first check the fuses for both of these items ? Secondly, I had a similar problem with my headlights (I had no dash lights )so I went to the bone yard and got a headlight switch and replaced it now they work and I have dash lights As for your second problem I an in the middle of trying to solve that mystery myself sorry I could not be more help Wipers might not turn on due to the 4.8 amp curcuit breaker being out, depending on year it is different locations refer to your manual to find location
interior lighting went out,now not any power to the fuse.
Fuse blown or connector loose?check bad fuse link.also a bad dimmer switch, need car info to help
Have you checked the fuses and bulbs?
The led light in the window switch is not replaceable. It is only serviced with the entire switch.
If you have the same bulb for brake and signal, brake light power needs to be interrupted by the signal lights, The brake circuit has to go through the signal light switch so the problem could be there.
The backup light switch and the brake switch are all in the same relay switch. The backup light switch can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard.
Hook your ingition power wire from the ingition harness to your head light switch (useally Green in color on GM) and it will solve your problem
Yes it is. It is a small F4.8 bulb that is part of the board assembly buried inside the switch module. But I am problems finding the bulb online.
I can not understand your question.
The 2004 dodge ram has a system built into the Power Distribution Modual (fuse box under hood), that turns on the head lights when the head light switch fails. This is a safety system in case the switch fail at night. Check and replace head light switch.
replace head light switch on 93 ford explorer
You either got a bad new Switch or more likely you have a power supply problem to the park side of the switch.
turn head light switch till it clicks and theses your dome light switch...
Power is being interrupted; the turn signal switch is a power juction see if the power is flowing thru it.
Yes. Even with no power to the light, there is still power to the switch. To power off the switch you usually need to open a circuit breaker.
Assuming it is the same as the 1998 Mercury Tracer : The fog light switch is on the turn signal lever , next to the head light switch * you probably need to have your head lights on low beam
You don't. The switch is all one , you will have to replace the entire switch.
Send power to the 1st switch and then send the power from that switch when it is in the on position to the second switch. Then send power to the light from the second switch. That way both switches will have to be in the on position for the light to be on.
You can either go to switch or to light first. I wired house for my brother ran power supply from junction box then to each switch then to light. Passed inspection no problem
Switch is shorted out.
