Well, of course it will turn over; there's nothing wrong with your batery or starter, but you have already identified the problem: no spark from the coil. So I'd say your coil is suspect. Get one from a scrap dealer for 5 bucks and find out.

YEA......And if that isn't it....make sure there isn't a crank sensor or a cam sensor that is faulty.....if its a Chrysler.3.0 ltr v6 i have a distrubutor with new cam sensor installed for sale.
Your ignition coil has probably failed.
check if it is getting fire
It is either the coil, coil wire or the ign.module attached to the back of the distributor
sell the piece of junk!
Check the Malibu crank position sensor and coil pack. One of these is the most likely cause of the loss of fire.
the car probably senses that it slowed down or is set to shift at large bumps if it is an automatic and if it is a manual it might be a bad clutch
crank sensor is bad
burn it
Replace ignition coil Check distributor cap and rotor
IT COULD BE TIMING BELT OR CHAIN MAYBE FUEL PUMP COIL PACK CHECK TO SEE IF THERE IS SPARK IF NO SPARK COULD BE COIL WITH SPARK FUEL PUMP OR TIMING BELT
Have you replaced the PCM
Does it turn over? Check for fuel and spark--could be bad fuel pump or bad ignition coil
