Al Sharpton does not run Sony. Mr. Sharpton is a talk show host and the head of a national civil rights advocacy organization. Sony is run by a Japanese conglomerate, with international ownership, including a branch in Hollywood. The current president of Sony Entertainment USA is Michael Lynton. To our knowledge, Mr. Sharpton has no influence on which movies Sony releases, nor does he tell the board of directors which movie stars should (or should not) be hired.

∙ 9y agoYes. Al Sharpton has great sympathy of anyone accused of a crime in the media that has not been convicted. Rev. Sharpton has always fought for civil rights and will fight for Bill Cosby.
