You need a cam cover gasket and most likely the bolts that hold the cam cover on. The bolts have rubber dowels on them which are likely worn out due to over tightening
If you see oil in the spark plug chambers in your Accord you will need to replace the vavle cover gasket. Oil from the top end of your engine (camshafts) is leaking through the vavle cover gaskets into one or more of the spark plug wells. Easy fix!!!!
if the oil is at the spark plug base the valve cover gasket is leaking. if the spark plug electrode is covered with oil the engine needs rings
not directly. you have to understand that the engine running powers these parts such as the oil pump. The spark plug burns the gas in the piston chambers which makes the enigne run. Idirectly it does but directly it does not.
With mine the spark plug tube gasket broke and one of the spark plug tubes was flooded with oil. Also try changing the sparkplugs. No there should not be any oil where you plug your spark plugs into
I had the same problem when i went to change my plugs. It was the rocker cover gasket
Spark Plug FoulingUsually there are two main causes of spark plug fouling:The engine is worn, and loose fitting parts allow engine lubricating oil to get into the combustion chambers [cylinders]. The oil then gets onto the spark plugs, and is "cooked" on.Another possibility is that the fuel mixture is way too "rich," causing incomplete combustion which deposits carbon and lacquer on the plug tip.
You have an oil leak
Oil deposits on the spark plug is caused by poor oil control. Oil is leaking past worn valve guides or piston rings into the cumbustion camber.
If you mean on the exterior of the spark plug then the valve cover gasket is leaking. If it is on the electrode of the plug you are burning oil.
Look for oil in the spark plug wells. If there is oil, you will need to replace the valve cover gasket Look for oil in the spark plug wells. If there is oil, you will need to replace the valve cover gasket
Screw out spark plug then screw in non fouler then screw in spark plug in non fouler.
