The answer to this involves morals and religion and your own culture and is up to you two really, but I believe that this man should divorce his wife in the first place. Human relationships are never easy and love and sex are two needs we humans have and it generally takes a while before we find what we are looking for. A while, not a lifetime. Many people who are living on their own blame it on the fact that they never found "Mr or Mrs Right". I think that such a perfect person does NOT exist. But it's nice to blame others of our own faults, you know. Dealing with someone at a short distance and under the same roof takes a lot of patience and understanding and you gotta be loving and prepared to share and not everybody is willing to do that. Which to me, added to different personal interests and priorities in life and many other reasons of course, explains while most relationships these days do not last.
