I have been having the same problem. Here's what I've discovered. Inside each tank there is a fuel pump (FDM): fuel delivery module. Each FDM has a supply and return. When the FDM is energized any excess fuel the engine does not need is returned through the return line. In the return side of the FDM there is a valve called the "Shuttle Selector Valve". When the FDM is energized this valve opens to allow fuel to return to the tank. Here's what the Haynes Manual has to say "There is no specific test for the shuttle selector valve portion of the FDM. If tank overfilling or cross filling is experienced, the overfilled tank's FDM probably has a stuck open shuttle valve. If excessively high fuel pressure is experienced, suspect a stuck closed shuttle valve in the selected FDM exhibiting the symptom."
Filling the ballast tanks with water increases the submarine's density. This will cause it to sink into the water. Blowing out the water with air reduces it and the sub will return to the surface.
refill at filling station
Tanks were just used as back ups. Not like todays tanks that are used in the front to push through the lines. Tanks had many flaws still since they were just introduced by Britain in the war.
filling portable fuel tanks on the fuel dock
NVA tanks smashing through the South Vietnamese capital's front gates and parking on their front yard signaled the end of it.
If you mean Scuba tanks, call a dive shop, if you mean emergency breathing tanks, call your local Fire Co.
By sending tanks through the Ardennes.
That is an untrue assumption. Tanks dominated the battlefield in Russia, and North Africa as well.
The war ended "PHYSICALLY" in the front lawn of the South Vietnamese Capital in Saigon, when NVA tanks came crashing through the capitals gates, in 1975.
what was the effect of machine guns, tanks, poison gas, and airplanes used in the battles along the western front
Hi, A little LPG vaporised (when discharging) is the reason why LPG tanks get cold (Because liquid need heat to vaporise similar to boilling water). When you filling the tank the pressure is growup is the cause of incresing Saturated temperature.Email: truonghuydo@gmail.com (from PETECARE, COPR in Viet Nam)
Poorly constructed maintained or operated stations can pollute the environment by: * Releasing hydrocarbon vapors from the filling lines or product storage tanks to the air * Allowing cars to idel while filling * From losses of gasoline or diesel to the ground on nozzle withdrall * From leaking storage tanks to the ground or groundwater * From chemical spills (ethylene glycol or sulfuric acid) * From oil spills from holding tanks or poorly drained oil containers
