Make sure your clutch master cylinder(BRAKE FLUID DOT 3)is full,have someone press clutch pedal to floor and hold,open slave cylinder bleeder screw,watch for air to come out,continue this until no air is seen coming out.You can use a clear hose on bleeder screw so you can see better and have other end in glass containerwith cluch fluid,make sure your clutch master cylinder has plenty of fluid or air will get back in.Your slave cylinder is bolted onto your transmission with 2 bolts and it is by the opening of transmission,if slave cylinder is leaking,then replace and bleed.
To bleed a clutch on a Nissan Stanza, you need to find the bleed-off valve, usually somewhere near the slave cylinder.
The same way you bleed brakes, but use the little bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. The same way you bleed brakes, but use the little bleeder valve on the slave cylinder.
remove 2 bolts holding it on,then replace, follow line back to bleeder valve,bleed,then bleed at slave cylinder
I went to autozone.com and looked both up and they are different.
You must bleed the clutch dampener before bleeding the slave cylinder its that weird curvey steel hose before the slave unter the passangers feet. look arount the side of the dampner for the bleed screw

It should be down below where the slave cylinder connects to the tranny
first take off slave cylinder, it should be mounted on your frame, then take off hoses, connect hoses to new slave cylinder. mount slave cylinder back to frame and bleed ur clutch for f*****g hours.
Its hydraulic ,you cant,check your slave cylinder to see if its leaking,its located thru a rubber cover on side of transmission,if leaking replace and bleed,also check clutch master cylinder,if not leaking,then you might need a new clutch kit.
first check your clutch slave cylinder for leaks, if its leaking ,replace and bleed system,if its not leaking,bleed system ,dont forget to bleed clutch damperand if its still not right, then replace clutch master cylinder.
You need to bleed the clutch
on slave cylinder that's bolted to side of transmission and one on clutch damper ,which is bolted on left side of fire wall.
