On your 03 expedition when using remote to unlock doors the drivers side rear view mirror immediately moves down any ideas?

The power seats and mirrors are programmed to each key remote the same as programmed to driver 1 or 2.

I replaced the drivers side mirror. On my car the drivers mirror was remote adjust and the passenger side was not. Open the door and look at it right above the mirror. There should be two screws. On the inside of the door there is a third screw going through the plastic trim panel. With these screws removed the mirror should pop out. It's been a while since I replaced my mirror. You may have to take that plastic panel off to finish removing the mirror. If it is a remote mirror you will have to take off that panel.

Power Remote means that there is a switch that you push to change the mirror position. You select right mirror, then push the arrows to make it go up or down or in or out. Manual Remote means that you have to physically reach up and push a lever with your hands to adjust the mirror.

you have to pull the drivers side door panel. with the window rolled up fully, you can access the attachement bolts. assuming it's a remote operated mirror (small chrome joystick on the door panel for adjustment) you must also remove the clip holding that joystick to the door panel from the back side of the door panel. once done, you can slide the old mirror & cable out, & replace by doing reverse. hummmm.......perhaps I am wrong , but , last time I looked at my 1981 corvette a hour ago , my remote control for the drivers AND passenger side was on my center console between the seats . Did the '81's come with two different options for remotes ?? .
