On your 2003 sometimes the dash freaks out gauges and everything but it keeps running normally What do you think?

This usually a bad earth point behind the dash. Many cars have a common earth point for all the guages. This is usually a metal strut or point on the firewall. When a wire is used for this earth, It may be partially dislodged by rough roads, hitting a pothole, rust or even a minor collision. You will have to get under the dash with a flashlight and trace the wiring to common points. Or some cars allow you to remove the binnacle containing the speedo etc as one unit, so you can see what's going on behind the dash.
