∙ 10y agoThe concept of tithing originated from the Bible. In it Abraham defeated the five kings when he rescued Lot. He gave a tenth of his spoils from the five kings to the high priest of Salem. In Malachi 3:6 God says that people who do not tithe are robbing him.
