Without any doubt, Israel's major capital good is the the people that live in it. -Israel is the largest producer of Start-Up Companies in the world per number of habitants. -Israel has the largest number of university graduates per university studies beginners (Means that the largest percentage of people that go to university also finishes his/her studies). If one wants more informtion..just need to look on Israel's Nobel Prices and other similar recognitions worldwide. But definitely is the people of Israel what makes Israel what it is today. A Miracle !
Israel and North America have the largest Jewish populations.
Wherever there are Jews. The largest Jewish communities today are in Israel and America.
Yes, Biblical Hebrew (which is not all that different from Modern Hebrew) is used in EVERY synagogue in Israel, as well as every synagogue outside Israel. But it's not used for speaking.Only Modern Hebrew is used for speaking.
The largest populations of Jews are located in Israel and New York City. Some other major concentrations of Jews are found in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Denver, Cleveland, Buenos Aires, London, Paris and Hong Kong. There are others.
Today the Hebrews are called Jews, and the U.S. has the second largest Jewish population in the world (second only to Israel).
It's hard to say whether the US or Israel has the largest population. Israel now (January 2013) has six million Jews.
Babylon sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the first temple in 586 BC and the Hebrews were expelled from their territory. When finally allowed to return to Israel, many decided to remain in Babylon or Egypt. From then on some of the Hebrew people have remained outside of Israel and are considered part of the diaspora. The Jews were again scattered when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD. Even today the majority of Jewish people live outside Israel.
Today there is no king of Israel.
7,105,000 is the population today
Israel is a singular country. It has no countries within it.
