i don't have a picture but I can tell you. It is located dead center in front of the throttle body. It can be reached from the front by taking out the air cleaner and all the rest of the air handling system back to the throttle body. You may also want to remove some of the stuff that is hanging from the firewall. If you remember an old 350 V8, it looks the same, a half dome with a big rubber hose attach to it. There are two bolts but on on the left I believe has two nuts on it, one for an electrical ground or sensor or something, and the other to hold down the thermostat housing. Remove 3 bolts (easier said that done because of where it's at) and remove housing. May have to us a small pry bar to get the gasket to let go. Clean both surfaces and make sure there is no big nicks, replace thermostat, guts side down and gasket re-bolt and torque and should be good to go. You may want to check the new thermostat before putting it in the GMC by putting it into boiling water. should open up. I didn't do this, so now have to tear into the van again.
