Make sure the Power Steering fluid level is up to par and the belt is in good working condition. Also make sure the belt is tight---some are adjustable others have spring loaded tensioners that can become seized on the pivot point ---oil soaked belts don't work well---and if you don't have success with these tips change the fluid to automatic tranmmission fluid ( Dexron Mercon) which will work fine and is cheaper anyway
