Automatic Car windows can sometimes become trouble for the owner. If your window is rolling down, but refuses to roll up, this is due to a burnt wiring inside the motor. The motor is attached to the driving seat door.

What could be wrong with the rear window of my 1995 4 runner. It won't roll down yet all other automatic locks and windows work?

When my back window would not roll down, I checked the rear window wiper assembly. The blade assembly needs to be down in a certain position before the window rolls down. Mine happened to be a little stuck up in between the window and the black insulation. Just wiggle the wiper down a little and try again.

How to make the back seat windows down in a car?

I believe you should take off the door entirely. The rear window rolls down and it takes the shape of the door and how it wraps around the rear wheel. Use a screw driver to tilt the windows up until it gets removed.

What does a power window regulator do?

it rolls the window up and down, but that's not the problem. it's your window switch, very easy to replace and not exspensive at all, it's a plug in part

How do you get a window to work on a 1989 Ford Bronco?

Turning the window crank in a counter clockwise direction, the window will go down, reverse direction to raise it. If you are speaking of the rear window the switch is on the a/c control panel. Down makes the window go down and up is up

The Power Window on your 2001 Intrepid ES rolls up but not down Why?

This is probably an issue with one of the switches. Either the master drivers window swithch pod or the one for that specific window.

What could be wrong if the driver's side power window in a 98 Toyota Corolla rolls down easily but rolls back up in little steps at a time?

im assuming this is power windows. your motor could be shot, yes even if it goes down the motor can be bad. or your regulator is screwd up, but it sounds more like a motor problem to me. I have the same problem in a 2000 Corolla, and it is a bad motor. Mine is the rear window on the driver's side.

1998 Chevy cavaliar driver window rolls down but rolls up slowly?

Take off door panel and grease window track. Regulator motor may also be worn which would cause slow close condition.

How do you troubleshoot a 2004 Toyota rear window defroster The wiper works as does the rear defrost switch but it does not defrost?

Try this simple fix. Put the window down then put it all the way back up. Over time and a few bounces the rear window settles down just a bit and this triggers a safety that prevents the defroster from running with the window down, only it's not down enough for you to notice it.

How do you replace and adjust the drivers window on a 92 civic cx?

Ok I got the window replace but how do you adjust it so that it runs up and down on the track properly? The front side of the window keeps falling off the track because the window rolls down crooked. Thanks
