Bad traction control module--bad wiring at the module or a bad pin on the module control connector. Also you might try this remove the traction control module connector and reseat it . It may take 2 or three times of doing this but it worked on mine . Question --does your battery light stay on ?? and then after a few seconds goe off?? if so then definitely try this. I spent over a thousand dollars trying to fix mine before I reseated the connector .

need to replace the alternator Have a scan done on it before you start throwing parts at it it is well worth the 50bucks they charge --Mine was doing the same thing and it turned out to be something in the traction control module that was affecting the pcm module that was in turn affecting the battery light.
