Check for vacuum leaks.
check all vacuum lines for leaks
Auto transmissions operate on pump pressure. The pump turns when the engine is running. This is why it leaks only when running.
oil leaks
That means the engine is running HOT. Need to check the coolant level and check for coolant leaks.
check for vacuum leaks
could be wires in ignition system bad or loose, or intake manifold vacuum leaks and in hoses, faulty engine contol system. for vacuum leaks, put oil around intake when running. if there is a leak then oil will suck in to intake.
The idle speed is computer controlled on a LT1 engine. If it is a little high, try checking for vacuum leaks.
If there are no leaks, it would not need recharged. If there are no leaks, it would not need recharged.
Very likely.
It depends on the kind of leak. Does the water drain while the pool lines are closed off? Does if leak faster or slower while the pool is running? Are the little bubbles blowing out of the return lines? All of these can indicate leaks of different types.
Find where it is running out and repair the cause.
