You cant really answer that question with knowing the compression , what type of cylinder heads you have and valve size. Is the application for street car automatic or 4 speed car? what type of performance are you looking for. Once you have all of this info contact a cam company Crower, comp cams, Lunati, ect give them your specs. These companies have spent alot of time configureing and testing. they will Know which one to sell you
not from the factory, that would be a customization
#66 on the primary side and #70 on the secondary.
A small one with vacuum secondaries.
Originaly, a Rochester quadrajet. However, edelbroc, and Holley both make a replacement that is worth consideration, and the cash outlay.
yes, from either jegs or summitt etc. made by edelbrock, and one by holley
400
I had a 390 fe with a mechanical fuel pump and it was putting gas in my oil I had no white blue or black smoke . I put a holley blue on it and it ran fine lol that after rebuilding my holley 4bbl bad rings can do the same or running to lean goodluck
They recommend 30,000 miles.
If you are looking for a 4V- Rochester Quadrajet. Advantage to this one is extra small primaries-what you need. Or aftermarket a 600-650 Holley 4V w/ vacuum secondaries NOT mechanical.
Every carburetor has the ability to provide good performance. Best to pick a carb for which you can get local support if it needs repair or tuning. I like Holley, but it's because I know how to tune one. I don't know if this is the best carb. for a 350 chevy, but if it is a 4 barrel I strongly recommend an Edelbrock 600 cfm. If the 350 is really hi pro., you may want to go a little bigger. although bigger is not always better.( this is only my opinion from experence.)
that was supposed to be 11:1 compression
