That can be a very tough problem. Try to release the parking brake cable tension by disconnecting the cables where they split to the two rear wheels. Next you may try to stick a screwdriver through the hole in the backplate of each wheel and engage the star wheel of the automatic brake adjuster and turn it backwards to release the tension on the brake shoes. This can be a big problem because there is little room to lift the automatic brake lever enough to allow the star wheel to turn. Try to find some pictures of the rear brake assembly so you can see what you're dealing with when you stick the screwdriver into the hole. Essentially, you will working blindly, so you need to have some mental/visual model of what you are doing. If you are successful in the above steps, the drum will come off easily. Frankly, I'd take it to a trusted mechanic and let him do it. I hate drum brakes!
