Program a new key and ignition to a 2000 ford focus
The diagnostic port is located at the bottom of the lower dash panel to the left of the steering column.
Under the drivers side dashboard to the left of the steering column.
This happened to me. I had to replace the key cylinder. I guess it happens when you have a key chain with 5 pounds of keys.

Your question is unclear. The adjusting mechanism release and lock is located on the underside of the left side of the steering column about 8-10 inches down the column from the direction signal stalk. Loosen to adjust - tighten to lock. If the mechanism is broken you must take it to a dealer to have it repaired or replaced. This is NOT a do-it-yourself project!
Release the steering column upper shroud from the lower shroud by inserting a thin screwdriver into holes on each side of the column. Lift the upper shroud from the column and unclip it from the bottom of the instrument panel. Depress the plastic tab at the top of the switch with a screwdriver. Lift the switch assembly from the steering column, and disconnect the switch multi-plug on removal.
remove the belt remove the 3-4 bolts on the steering pump remove the 3-4 bolts on the thermostat reinstall the same
To the left of the steering column there is a brightness wheel. Make sure it isn't all the way up (brightest) as this will cause the map light to stay on.
Focus w/automatic transmission: fuse #40 = 10 amp. Focus w/manual transmission: fuse #53 = 10 amp. Fuse panel is located under the dash on the firewall to the left of the steering column.
