Fault with thermostat
Heater matrix clogged (maybe with radiator sealant)
That's exactly what was wrong with mine! the workshop had to clean all the radiator sealant (copper) and it start working perfectly.

you will have to get you hands on a haynes manual as the belt system varies depending on the model the haynes manual showhs all configurations get one on eBay (cheap)

i have done it on the 1998 model, it was a two day job, with two people, you need a haynes manual though

The torque settings for the rear hub nut (in the Haynes manual) is 175Nm or 127lb ft.
just called the dealership...haynes manual as usual was useless...its 103 ft. lbs.
On the fuse box door you can see a pictorial representation of what the fuse is for, for a more detailed description refer to your car manual (downloadable from http://www.pdf-search-engine.com/renault-clio-service-manual-pdf.html) or buy a copy of the Haynes manual from your local Halfords.
