Contact crutchfield radio / electronics they will provide you with a free wiring harness when you purchase the radio thru them which will allow you to connect your radio without effecting the cars other electrical systems.
the 1996 to 1998 Honda civic has the keyless entry module built into the factory radio, you will have to wire the factory radio in-line with your aftermarket radio, most people then hide the factory radio under the center console. your other options would be to go without keyless entry or install an aftermarket unit.
pull it out and disconnect the harness. put a new harness on so when you sell it you can out your stock radio back in.
Yes it can you just have to buy a vehicle specific adapter. This will also work going from a double din stock stereo to a single din aftermarket stereo
To remove a stock stereo from a 2005 Honda Civic LX all the mounting bolts need to be off. The center console will have all the necessary screws removed to reach the mounting bolts. When all the bolts are removed the radio unit will slide out.
If you have changed the stereo the alarm settings will reset. The dealership reset those for Anti Theft protection.
not sure about the 2002LX, but a stock 96EX civic has 127HP
It may be true to a certain extent, however you should go to www.crutchfield.com and visit their forums, posting this problem. Someone will help you more thoroughly there.
The wattage of your stock stereo in your 1989 Acura Integra is 75 watts. There was anÊoption for a larger stereo output of up to 200 watts.
Well if you have a stock deck the first thing you need to do is make sure you buy a dash install kit with the after market deck you want to install. The stock stereo comes out easily after you remove the two screws on the side of the panels that hold the deck in place. The screws are by the drivers right foot and the other is by the passengers left foot.
The original speakers suck. I replaced them with some 6 x 8 Alpine 2-way speakers. Big difference even with stock stereo.
195/60R15 are the stock size tires on my 2004 Honda Civic.
it depends if u are using the stock stereo then no but if it is not a stock stereo then u may have an aux input jack which comes out the back of the stereo the easiest way is to just pull out the stereo and take a look
i have a 92 Honda civic si... it goes like 102... fully stock..
