Riding mower Craftsman model 917.271013 Mower keeps blowing 30 amp fuse next to solenoid I have replaced the ignition plugs checked all the wires and I did spliceg a couple of worn wirers?

It sounds like maybe your starter might be shorted out - a wire could be touching the casing somewhere or it could be something worn in the starter that is letting something go to ground inside. Unhook starter and try putting the fuse in and turn the key if it blows the fuse in is not the starter.

the solenoid itself is probably bad, if not that probably the ignition switch I agree 100%, check the solenoid first then the switch.
