The Hudson River starts in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State and flows south to New York Harbor. It never enters Canada.
The Saint Lawrence River flows northeastward from the eastern end of Lake Ontario to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. The first stretch of the river forms the border between Ontario (Canada) and New York State (USA); the rest of the river lies in Québec.

There are 2 rivers I can think of that borders Canada and New York state. The St Lawrence River borders most of Ontario and New York east of Lake Ontario, and you also have the Niagara River which boarders at Niagara Falls
This is the St. Lawrence River, which flows from Lake Ontario to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and the Atlantic Ocean. It only actually separates the province of Ontario from the state of New York, and then flows through Quebec.
