Depending on miles and driving conditions, it could be the oxygen sensors. Some manufacturers recommendations suggest that the O2 sensors be replaced every 65,000 miles or so. To be certain, use a diagnostic code reader to find out what computer codes are stored. Borrow, rent or buy an OBDII (On Board Diagnostic Revision 2) code reader and follow the instructions. It will tell you what's wrong, and you won't have to guess.
