It is usually indicative of the E.G.R. Valve (Exhaust Gasoline Recirculation Valve).
Is your gas mileage way down? I Had E.G.R. Valve replaced and the light no longer comes on.
Good luck. Thank-you for sharing.
No it will not.
There was no 5.2 liter engine in a 1995 Firebird
First guess would be the pick up coil in the distributor
you will need a scan tool to determine the cause and to reset
Any size SBC engine will fit and is compatible with a 91 Firebird. A 350 engine is the most common that is used for installing in a 91 Firebird.
service engine light on? Have vehicle scanned to determine problemCheck for vacuum leak
Can a v.8 5.7l 350 engine fit into a 1994 Pontiac firebird?
Well it depends on your engine size. I have have a 1989 firebird formula model with a 305 5.0 engine. When the engine is cold, it will go into high idle, with the oil pressure gauge between 30 and 60. After it's warmed up, at idle, the needle should be just above the red line. As crank speed increases pressure will increase, so it will depend on your speed and RPM while driving.
what engine?
Yes it will fit, They are exactly the same body style
The 2000 Pontiac Firebird starter can be found on the right hand side of the engine. The starter will be near the back of the engine.
pull off the cover behind the engine and see if the prongs are rusted. there are symptoms involved with driving such as the engine hesitating, irregular running and surging. the best way is probably to check visually.
