Of course not. That leads to other serious diseases, and won't keep the weight off, anyway. Why not simply eat less (especially sugary food) and exercise more. Walk two miles every day. Example: I lost 12 pounds by totally keeping chocolate out of my diet, and exercising the same hour a day that I had before I lost the weight.
I would use weight watchers. It's completely safe.

they shouldn't! what's wrong with cartoons?
You should weigh about 130-150. That is a normal 14yr olds weight.
You can go to LossUp, Australia's largest teenager's weight loss organisation. If you live in America, go to AfternoonExercise, an organization for 10 year olds to 30 year olds weight loss. Good luck!
it depends on your height and weight. -E
It depends on how strong you are. It is best to keep it at about 20kg for 10 year olds, 60kg for 16+ year olds.
All the 12 year olds I know are 110-90
An illness would be the only way for a kid to lose that much weight.
There is no ideal weight for all 12-year-olds. Ask your doctor if you are within a healthy weight.
Be Active! No pills or unhealthy dieting can ever replace the necessity of exercise. I know this from personal experience.
Each 12 year old will be a different weight. It depends on height, muscle, your bmi - percentage of body fat... There really isn't an 'ideal' weight for all 12 year olds, weight is an individual thing. Hope this helps :)
