No. -- "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." (II John 10-11)

AnswerYes, because it excludes the non-believers, and it is in the religion of Christianity to exclude. AnswerHospitality is not an option but an obligation, especially for those who are leaders in the Christian church. See Romans 12:13, 1 Timothy 3:2, Titus 1:8 and 1 Peter 4:9. The verses from 2 John above refers to obstinate false teachers who will not receive the truth and so will not benefit from Christian company, nor would they desire it anyway except to get others to join in their error. Hebrews 13:2 (King James Version)2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

The excluding of people is not to be a shunning of others because Christians are better or 'holier than thou' - because Christians are sinners too. What Christians find difficult is like everybody else, having religion rammed down their throat - the religion of Atheism. Those who wish to be moderate or to learn and not to be contentious are most welcome. Christians love to share and be hospitable where they can.

I have been a Christan before I could even talk. I have felt a deep connection with God and the holy spirit since I was a young boy. Having said that I am neither a perfect Christan nor to I claim to have memorized The Bible.

If you answered anything but yes "you should let them in" to this question I fear that you truly do not understand Christ and it saddens me. I live in a town with a predominately settled Finn population in the US. For the most part they are God fearing, family oriented and hard working people. However because God had chosen that my family be of Canadian decent - well the Finns will not speak to me. It amazes me.

Never has the world seen a more loving and caring "man" on this Earth. He died for our sins and stressed to his disciples to not spend their time with those that are saved, but those that are not. In fact if you recall he became rather upset with his disciples over this fact.

Christ's message for us was and is to spread the good word. If we are not even to let those that have yet come to know and accept Christ into our lives - how then can we do his bidding? Please give this some thought.

I think that it's wonderful that some (Christan's and Jews alike) turn to the Bible for understanding through scripture. However, it can at times as in the case of the first respondent here - provide an answer that obviously is not what Christ had intended.

To be Christ-like is to be open, loving, non-judgmental and always welcoming anyone into your homes and hearts.

The next time their is someone at your door who has yet to give-in to Christ - let him in! In fact let him in again and again! The more that you share your love with him the more he will get to know Christ through your love and who knows you just might save a soul.

"Don't think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us" (Rom. 12:3).

Praise Christ~

How old is your mobile home?

My mobile home is a 1981. Homes built after 1975 were subject to HUD rules and construction regulations, so are better in many ways. -Parks will allow older homes to exist if they are well kept, but will not allow pre-1975 homes to be moved into their property. Many insurance companies will not insure pre-1975 homes. Many movers will not move pre-1975 mobile homes.
