No, depakote has no effect on anxiety.
Antacids should not normally be taken with other medicines.
Valium and Flexeril should not be combined. Other drugs may be taken together if your psychiatrist and cardiologist think that they can be taken together.
Yes. I think.
Depakote EC is enteric coated Depakote, which must be taken in multiple doses daily. Depakote ER is extended release Depakote, which can be taken once daily, and usually requires a dose increase of 8-20% compared with Depakote EC.
Yes, ibuprofen can be taken in conjunction with Depakote as long as it is an over the counter brand. If it is an ibuprofen that is mixed with a form of narcotic pain medication, it can not be taken with Depakote.
yes it can
Yes. I am sensitive to medicine and I take 250 mg of depakote a day. and it seems to work fine.
NO! Even though Topamax and Depakote are used to treat a lot of the same things, Depakote can cause interactions with Topamax. If your doctor prescribed both prescriptions to you, I would call a Walgreen's or CVS and ask a pharmacist. They usually have one specifically to answer questions about medications. But even the website for the makers of depakote and topamax said they shouldn't be taken together.
Depakote is normally taken for seizures. So if your depakote level is low that means you need more in your system to keep you from having a seizure. It is also used for bi-polar disorder.
I don't recommend it, I did so, and experienced self-induced seizures. You can take Depakote with Tramadol as long as you don't exceed more than 3 a day. I am on both meds and the pharamists told me that and I have lived by it, and I have not had seizures but then again I am taking Depakote for BiPolar Disorder not epilepsy.
