If possible, it is better to edit the question and answer so that they still apply, or so that they record historical information. For example, let's say someone asked "Who are the Boston Red Sox playing for their 2006 season opener?" That can later be changed to "Who did the Boston Red Sox play in their 2006 season opener?" or "How do you find out who the Boston Red Sox will play in this season's opening game?" etc.
