What are some results of bullying?

Cyber bullying causes the same results as any other type of bullying. Best case scenario: the victim saves all evidence of bullying and shows a trusted authority figure. Worst case scenario, the victim slips into a deep depression, self-medicating with anything from drugs, alcohol, self-mutilation, or even suicide. CyberCrime should be taken as seriously as any other crime?

Cyber crimes must be dealt as seriously as normal crimes because crime is a crime there is no justification for any crime and it should be treated as a crime. If it is not taken care off then all hackers and crackers will get loose. Several people will loose their identity or their identity will be used for illegal purposes. Terrorist groups are deftly using Internet for passing on information with regard to executing various terrorist acts having serious negative impact on human life. The cyber-terrorists have even acquired the capability to penetrate computer systems using “logic bombs” (coded devices that can be remotely detonated), electro magnetic pulses and high-emission radio frequency guns, which blow a devastating electronic wind through a computer system. Many instances of cyber crime involve techno-trespass and unauthorized access to the computer system and data or programmes stored in computers. This access could be without authorization or exceeding the authorization given to an individual. The unauthorized access may lead to theft, alteration or destruction of data, tampering with computer programmes or other software, damage to computers or computer systems including damage to data stored on storage devices, such as hard disks, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, etc. This would, in turn, lead to serious financial loss to the organization. Cyber crimes include sabotage of computer systems or computer networks. Sabotage of operating systems and programmes; Theft of data/information (this is the fastest growing computer-related crime); Theft of intellectual property, such as computer software; Theft of marketing information; and Blackmail based on information gained from computerized files, such as medical information, personal history, financial data, etc. SO there is a need that it is taken as seriously as any other normal crime The cyber crime should be taken as seriously as any other crime The cyber crime should be taken as seriously as any other crime The cyber crime should be taken as seriously as any other crime

How to avoid cyber bullies?

There is a number of ways to avoid cyber bullies. Make sure you never post your full name so you are harder to find. If you think someone is cyber bullying you, leave the chat room immediately. If the same user bullies you multiple times, most websites have a block function. You can also report their activity to the people who run the website, and their account may be deleted. If you have taken all of these measures, and the user is still bullying you, I suggest you stop using the website for awhile, and return to it later. If the user is bullying you again, stop using the website for good. If you know who the user is in real life, you may want to confront them directly. If you are scared to, talk to an adult you trust and they can help you find a solution to the situation.
