13g of carbs! 150g of calories! Its tasty, but not something to drink if you want to lose weights for sure!
This all depends on what kind of diet you want. For a normal everyday non-dieter, your food label knowledge should be the serving size, fat, carbs and calories. You should try to stick with a 2000 calorie diet, unless you are taller or more muscular, then this will increase. For a basic dieter (aka - moderate exercise and health conscious), you should be concerned with serving size, calories, and carbs. For the dieter (aka - moderate to intense exercise and very health conscious), you should watch the carbs, the kinds of fats, and the proteins. Fat is good as long as its the good fat, and you want a lot of protein for your body. The carbs should be low in everything you buy. This will help lose weight.
Just eat vegetables/ fruits and do not eat too much carbs.
Mostly proteins. No carbs. low fat, like Chicken, fish, peanuts, cashews... No bread or pasta, no sugar.
If you want to lose weight and reduce the carb intake then make sure to cut down to around 50–150 grams per day. Only consume 50 to 70 grams of carbs in a day.
If you want to lose weight very quickly, try a calorie restrictive diet with a low intake of carbs. This is hard to do as you will feel hungry, but you will lose the weight.
That depends on what you mean by "dry" and whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain weight. See the Related Question for more information.
Well if your on a strict diet saturated fats is what you really want to avoid but don't exactly starve yourself of them.
Low carb diets are exactly what they sound like. Cut the carbs to the minimum and lose the weight. Foods high in carbs are frequently high in sugar, so that is one way that these low carb diets work. The other part of the equation is what your body does with carbs once they get into your system, which is to turn them into sugar again, not good. The great thing about low carb diets is they don't necessarily restrict your total calorie intake, just the carbs. Eat all the lean protein you want and stay full while you diet.
A balanced diet deponds on what your lifestyles like, you should tailor your diet to you lifestyle e.g. if your an active person then you should high high carbs, protein and vitamins and little fats, if you just want to be healthy then get alittle of everything but you should never cut out a food group as all of them rovide you with what your body needs.
It has been said that if you want to go on an Ulcerative Colitis Diet plan, you should eat a well-balanced diet which has quite a bit of protein (like meats, or tofu), complex carbs, whole grains and good fats.
