cool the oil heats up and expands u need it cool to get a accurate reading
You have to check the motor thermostat. Replace it, and you will be warm again.
get in the car when it is cold, turn on the ac, then check under the hood. the fan that is not spinning when the car is cold is the cooling fan
cold. If you open the radiator when the car is hot, it can spray all over the place.
Normally your dipstick has a hot and cold mark on it. If not check it hot, always check it with the engine running on an even surface.

Believe if you check your fuse boxes in your car manual it should provide you with the whereabout of of your resitor and fuses which run the fan. I did the same with my car and ubfortunateoy all were good except for my blower motor which was found to be no good. Costly but better to have heat and a/c than nothing to clear fogged windows, cold and heat.
