Should you confront or question a suspected cheater in a long-distance relationship if you don't want to make distrust a problem?

If you aren't an overly jealous type of person and have good reason to feel your mate is cheating then by all means do something about it. Trust you gut feelings. The best way to handle this is by getting a detective on it, or you and a girlfriend take a trip out there and see what he's up too. Follow him! I followed my ex husband and caught him with 2 women at a bar! My sister-in-law that came with me also caught her husband at the same time with two women. Go figure! There is much controversy on this board by posters as to whether long distant relationships really work, and some do, but it's an extremely low percentage. Humans need to touch each other, see each other and be together more than once a year. People basically need to be loved and you can't get that through emailing or phoning in a long distance relationship. If you want to experience love then do it the good old fashion way and get out there and start dating.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but after one of the partners have cheated there is always going to be some distrust in the relationship. its not likely that the relationship will be as strong as it was before the cheating took place.
