It should say on the label from the pharmacy, but teaspoon is more likely correct. A tablespoon would be an overdose. Feel free to call any pharmacist when in doubt. They are there to help.

Follow the doctor's recomendation. It would be writen in the RX. Codeine is a opiate and could form habit but the amount of the RX will not be enough to get a bad habit. The Thing is that codeine medicines should not be taken by selfprescription.
