If you want a smartphone without a data plan, you will have to buy the phone full price without a contract discount. You will not be able to acess data OTA (over the air) only through Wi-Fi (if applicable) but you will still be able to use the phone's applications, text messaging and phone functions.
You cant use a smart phone without data plan.
Data is wifi. The only way a smartphone can use wifi without having a data plan is when it is connected to wifi at a building.
yes it requires a data plan.
Technically it's possible... you can purchase a smart phone outright, with no plan at all. it would be very helpful and you would get more money if you sold phones without a data plan and then you wouldn't have to pay 30 dollars a month.
In order to use the iPhone, you must use a smartphone plan, but some Android phones may be compatible with PrePaid plans. This will, however, still require smartphone data.
No
Yes because it is a smartphone
No, it is not possible to have a smartphone without a contract. Without a plan, the phone will not function. yes its called no commitment
It is a smartphone. Yes, you can access the web with this phone. As a matter of fact, you cannot buy a calling plan without the data plan too. Carriers require data plans for smartphones.
You could use a smartphone without turning on the data plan. To do so, you can either turn off your data (going into the phone's settings and disabling data access), or notifying your carrier that you do not want a data plan and want features such as internet or instance blocked if you happen to click that feature on your phone.
No it does not, you can have one though. It's not a smartphone.
I work for ATT and you must leave the data plan. IF you deleted the data plan, the phone will not work. Hope this helps
