Some people like to have a hierarchical structure in their folders and others like to store all files in just only one or two folders which method do you prefer?

Programmers prefer to store all source files and debugging tools in only one folder. But if you for example want to collect in the folders' structure the data from architecture, you need the "living" structure. That is, you need to use diffrent criteria, be it style, era or personality. This is a function of relational database.
