Someone used my credit card to pay their Verizon cell phone bill. I don't have Verizon. How do you find out whose acccount at Verizon was paid?

There is nothing you can really do..My friend had the same problem..first he went to the bank to see what they could do, and the bank sent him to Verizon..and Verizon sent him right back to the bank and the bank sent him to the police. The police didnt do anything..my best suggestion to you is, keep your personal belongings with you at all times so nothing like this happends again..sorry but there really isn't anything anyone can do..
EDIT: It depends what country you're in. Here in the UK - if you can prove your card was used without your consent, the card company will refund the payment (I speak from experience). Second Verizon should be able to contact the person who's bill it was and tell them the payment was fraudulently made - and they will not honour it (then they will bill the person again !) Although they are not legally bound to tell you who used your card - they will have the information themselves and can proceed with legal action where necessary. Snakester1962 (Supervisor)
